Before You Write
Questions we are asked often.
Wherever the scope allows it, we quote a fixed fee agreed before any work begins. Where a matter genuinely cannot be scoped upfront — contested litigation, for example — we agree a capped estimate and flag any variation before it is incurred.
Both. Our practice is predominantly corporate, but we act for individuals in real estate, employment, estate and dispute matters where the work sits within our areas of competence.
Routinely. We have long-standing relationships with partner firms across common law and continental law jurisdictions and are comfortable acting as Nigerian counsel within a wider international team.
